Giants got another tight victory
The New York Giants (6-1-0, 6-1-0 ATS) are unstoppable at the moment. Who believed that the Giants will be 6-1 after the opening seven weeks of the season? Not even themselves, probably. But, here we are, the Giants are beating their opponents regularly, and only their divisional foes Philadelphia Eagles have a better record in the league. New York stopped the Jacksonville Jaguars inches off the end zone as time expired to steal a 23-17 road win in their latest game. The Giants were 17-13 down after the first three quarters but scored ten unanswered points in the final 15 minutes.
Daniel Jones completed 19 of 30 passes for 202 yards and a touchdown, while he also added 107 rushing yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Darius Slayton, who led the team in receiving yards with 58 on three catches, caught that passing TD from Jones. New York prefers to run the ball over passing, and Saquon Barkley led all the runners with 110 yards on 24 attempts. Defensively, Fabian Moreau and Julian Love had nine tackles apiece.
WR Sterling Shepard (ACL), LB Azeez Ojulari (calf), T Evan Neal (MCL), and TE Daniel Bellinger (eye) are out and will not play on Sunday in Seattle. WR Kenny Golladay (knee), and LB Oshane Ximines (quad) are questionable.
Seahawks beat the Chargers on the road
The Seattle Seahawks (4-3-0, 4-3-0 ATS) secured their second straight win, and this time around it was the easiest W of the season for them as they beat the Los Angeles Chargers 37-23 on the road. Seattle took a 17-0 lead in the opening quarter and never looked back even though the hosts managed to cut the deficit to three points.
Los Angeles couldn’t stop Seattle’s run offense, which impressed once again, particularly rookie RB Kenneth Walker III, who had his first 100-yard display and the best game in the NFL. He finished with 167 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries. Geno Smith completed 20 of 27 passes for 210 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Marquise Goodwin was on the receiving end of both TD passes as Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf have been slowed down by minor injuries. On defense, Jordyn Brooks led the team with eight tackles.
RB Rashaad Penny (fibula) is out for the season. G Gabe Jackson (knee), DT Poona Ford (ankle), WR DK Metcalf (knee), G Phil Haynes (concussion), and DE Darrell Taylor (groin) are questionable to feature against the Giants on Sunday.

New York Giants vs. Seattle Seahawks Pick
Another tight affair is incoming for the Giants. Each of their seven games this season was a one-possession game, which is amazing. Somehow, they usually managed to be on the winning side, and I wouldn’t exclude that on Sunday in Seattle. It seems that Brian Daboll knows how to win games unlike some of his predecessors, and the Giants are full of confidence right now.
Even if they lose here, I am sure it’s not going to be a blowout defeat. Seattle did win three of the last four and is a slight favorite here, but whether the Seahawks are good enough to win tight games? I don’t think so.
Pick: Take the Giants at +3.5 (-120)
The Total
Seattle does have a top-five offense that averages 26.1 points per game and one of the weakest defenses that allow 26.6 ppg. Still, I don’t expect to see a high-scoring game here because the Giants are on the other part of the field. With their sturdy D that allows 18.6 ppg and No. 2 run offense in the NFL that averages 173.4 yards per game, I think the Giants will be looking to control the situation here.
The Seahawks now have red-hot Kenneth Walker III and can rely on running, especially with Metcalf doubtful to play and Lockett banged up. Under is 24-6-2 in the Giants’ last 32 games overall, while Under is 9-4 in the Seahawks’ previous 13 vs. a team with a winning record.
